These classes run year-round and are divided into three categories:
By signing your child up, they are able to learn and practice their skills in a controlled environment under the guidance of a qualified instructor. At Chimera we work though a comprehensive programme that covers technique, climbing wall etiquette and builds confidence.
The price of kids clubs is £67.50 per month, which includes one weekly session with shoe hire. Kids club plus is also available at £90.50 per month, which includes one weekly session with shoe hire, as well as unlimited climbing at all our centres.
Team Chimera is our competitive invitation-only squad of climbing ninjas. Aged up to 17 years old, the team train at Chimera under the tutelage of our most experienced professional coaches.
The squad train multiple times per week and at the weekend, as well as attending competitions. This is a dedicated, close-knit team where attitude is valued as highly as ability. Trials take place in September of each year - if you are interested in finding out more, email: chatham@chimeraclimbing.com
We offer taster sessions for kids at the weekend. These last an hour and are with one of our qualified instructors. It’s a great way for your child to try climbing for the first time and gain some useful hints and tips, whilst exploring our walls.
This session is also a good way to see if your child is ready to join one of our kids' clubs, which run seven days a week. The cost of the taster is £23 per child and these can be booked online.
We offer taster sessions for kids at the weekend. These last an hour and are with one of our qualified instructors.
We offer private lessons for kids who perhaps can’t commit to a regular club or just want a helping hand with some basic technique to get them started. These are priced at £40 for an hour on a one-to-one basis, or £64 for two kids.
